Stair Lift

A stair lift is a mechanical device used for lifting people up and down stairs. Usually, a rail is mounted at the base of the stairs and the rail is extended to the top of the stairs. A chair or lifting platform is then attached to the rail. Stair lifts can be fitted on both straight and curved stairways.

Doctors prefer stair lifts for joint problems or aging to use a chair lift because stair lifts are safer and causes less impact on the knees.
